PLEASE NOTE: These dates are all subject to change without notice. Funding applications should be submitted well before any of the round closing dates to avoid being allocated to a later funding round.
Applications will only be accepted from organisations in the Waitakere Trust area, or to benefit people in the Waitakere Trust area.

BEFORE SUBMITTING THIS APPLICATION, PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE CHECKED THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY
Groups must prove Charitable Status i.e. common seal on form or copy of Certificate of Incorporation, IRD Charitable Status letter, or Trust Deed.
- Competitive quotes (at least two must be submitted) for each item requested i.e. a quote from differing companies for each item. Quotes must be current (no more than two months old) and printed on supplier’s letterhead showing contact details (address, phone, fax etc). Internet/email and photocopies from catalogues are not acceptable. Funding cannot be provided on budgets or cost estimates.
- Include copy of latest Audited Accounts.
- Funds cannot cover costs already incurred and paid for.
- Items requested in the cost breakdown box are to be GST EXCLUSIVE and must be clearly referred to with the accompanying quotes.
- Resolutions or Minutes should be addressed to The Trusts Charitable Foundation and must be SIGNED and DATED by the Secretary/Chairperson or other authorised person. (This must be on the official letterhead of the applicant organisation).
- For schools: Letter of support for application from the Principal (if application completed by someone else).
- For Kindergartens: Letter of support from the AKA. For Playcentres: a Certificate of Incorporation for the individual playcentre – not the Association.
- For sporting groups: Proof of event, proof of affiliation to a national or regional body or proof the event is sanctioned by a national body.
- Pre-printed bank deposit slip or other record showing full account details verified by the bank must be attached to The Trusts Charitable Foundation.
- Please ensure all forms are signed and dated. The original application form is to be returned, a photocopy is not acceptable.
- Accountability report for previous funding is completed before submitting a further application.
FAILURE TO INCLUDE ALL REQUESTED PAPERWORK MAY INVALIDATE THE APPLICATION OR DELAY THE DECISION MAKING.
